Burnout is the practice of keeping a vehicle stationary or stable while spinning its wheels, it causes the tires to heat up and smoke . As we can get to know it is not a practice that a commoner can do with their respective cars as it may cause the tires to damage and the other systems in the car to breakdown so it better be left in the hands of drag  racing professionals . It messes up with the tires as well as the break pads while straining your engine, it is done to heat up the tires before racing to provide more traction and removes any kind of debris left on the tire.
